Three and a half years after the inauguration of the Hublot manufacture in Nyon, Switzerland, the perfect fusion between Hublot’s design and its Manufacture movement, the UNICO chronograph.

The iconic design of the Big Bang evolves to enclose the UNICO,
the double-coupled column-wheel chronograph movement visible on the dial side was completely designed, developed, and produced in the Hublot manufacturing laboratories. The result will be the starting point for a new line of Hublot products, to integrate the Big Bang, Classic Fusion, King Power, and Masterpieces lines.
To begin with, the Big Bang Unico is equipped with an imposing 45.5 mm diameter case, sophisticated and mechanical, with a bezel fixed by 6 H-shaped screws with a new even more technical and refined design. Noteworthy is the new design of the crown, screwed, overmolded in rubber, whose profile is decorated with the famous H of the Hublot screw. Some technical details. Finally, the movement can be admired thanks to a skeletonized dial equipped with the famous indexes and Arabic numerals reworked to make them more massive (and which are emptied and filled with SuperLuminova TM) as well as two counters “surrounded” by a polished bezel, the first, for the minutes, at 3 o’clock, and the other, for the small seconds, at 9 o’clock; the date window is visible at 3 o’clock. As for the UNICO in-house movement,
it is Hublot’s in-house chronograph movement. That’s why it was chosen. It was entirely designed, developed, machined and assembled by micro mechanics, engineers and watchmakers within Hublot. It is a flyback chronograph (can be reset at any time for greater convenience), two pushers, date indication, characterized by the positioning of the double coupling mechanism and the “column wheel” visible on the dial side.best replica watches
Its development followed an original path, off the beaten track: the hour counter, for example, is dragged directly from the barrel and there is no click in the chronograph mechanism. This simplification increases reliability and robustness. Anchor and escape wheel are made of silicon,
a guarantee of optimal performance thanks to its lightness,
fixed on a removable escapement holder. Its structure, with only 330 components, has been simplified, again to improve its robustness. This result is the result of continuous fine-tuning since 2009, the year of its presentation, carried out jointly in the manufacturing department by the technical office, laboratory and after-sales service. The frequency of 4hz / 28,800 vibrations / hour and the accurate finishes are also a guarantee of excellent chronometric qualities. Finally, automated production, such as robotization for processing, stone assembly, lubrication and many assembly operations, allows for constant and controlled quality. Its power reserve is approximately 72 hours.
